Moondog - EP The NYHC classic from Walter and Co. that came before Gorilla Biscuits. This was given a proper digital release a few years ago. "Distance" is one of Walter's best.
Rosetta - Wake/Lift I'm straight edge, so it's hard to say with certainty, but I'd imagine this record would be the perfect soundtrack to doing hallucinogens on Venus.
Small Brown Bike - Nail Yourself to the Ground People always seem to forget about this one and often write it off because it came from the more relaxed era after the epic Dead Reckoning, but I still love it.
Against Me - Live at WKDU This was recorded live on the air a few years ago before an evening show. It's just Tom acoustic. It's got a few of the "hits" and an early version of one or two songs.
Castevet - I Know What a Lion Is Mid 90s inspired emo from Chicago. They recently put out an LP that is pretty great, so try and pick that up. Hopefully they come to Philly soon.
Handsome - s/t 90s post hardcore, featuring Jeremy who later went on to play in Jets to Brazil. There's a rumor of an unreleased LP, so if I ever get that, I'll throw it up here.
Canadian Rifle - s/t 7" Gruff punk rock that wouldn't sound out of place in Gainesville. Al Burian played on this record, but has since left the band. Their new LP sounds a lot like Leatherface.
